Chef Frank recreates Entenmanns discontinued Metropolitan Cake

I grew up with Entenmanns baked goods. I still love them. The Metropolitan cake was one of my favorites but was sadly discontinued. I have spent some time and calories working to recreate this quirky cake. I hope you love it as much as I do.

2 cup/235 g cake flour
1 1/2 cup/300 g sugar
1 tbsp/ 2 g baking powder
1 tsp/5 g salt
7 egg yolks
