Rudy continues his narration about partially damaged life due to bad choice of agronomy as his job and branch of studies. Rudy doesn't want to lose more of his life. He wants to sell his lands. Mercedes tries to convince him not doing so. Luisa is crying in kitchen, because she was publicly accused by Bernarda of robbery of the statuette. Lorenzo wants to help her by declaring himself as robber, if necessary. It is obvious, that Lorenzo has feelings for Luisa. Rafael tries to convince Rudy not to sell the lands, but Rudy made his mind. In RUdy's behaviour, Mercedes feels influence of Elisa. Manuela wants Fernando to intervene in the case of lost or stolen statuette. Manuela knows, that Luisa didn't do that. Fernando explains the sentimental value of the statuette and wants full investigation. THe talk is interrupted by Teresa, who thinks, that Leopoldo stole the statuette. Teresa wants sercet or no investigation. Fernando doesn't support that solution, Fernando wants some sort of investigation. Jacinta makes another telephone call in Salinas' residence. She wants money for keeping her mouth shut. She wants to meet with Bernarda as soon as possible. Mariana and ANtonio talk in café. Mariana feels bad, because she even didn't say farewell to Gustavo, who was moved to another penitentiary. Teresa and Leopoldo tell reproaches to each other. Both feels, that the other one made marriage falling apart. Cella brings laundry. When Bernarda checks the trousers of Leopoldo, she finds paper document of sale of the statuette. Bernarda runs into Manuela's bedroom and informs her about the document and who and what actually did with the statuette. Bernarda suggests Manuela to ask or interrogate Leopoldo. That's what would Isabel do. Manuela agrees. Manuela talks to Leopoldo, that he has to change, if he wants to be father of his and Teresa's baby. Manuela also gives Leopoldo cheque, so he can buy back the statuette. When Manuela leaves, Bernarda appears and for Leopoldo, it is obvious, that Bernarda suggested Manuela, what to do. Antonio accompanies Mariana to aunt Adelaida's flat. Mariana wants to spend some intimate moments with him, but Antonio suggests Mariana to rest, he will come later. When Mariana sent Antonio away, Adelaida appears and argue begins. Adelaida understood, what happened between Mariana and Gustavo, why Gustavo robbed that money and Adelaida also feels, that Mariana's romance with Antonio at the time is very inappropriate. Adelaida packed Mariana her luggage, she can't live with her anymore. Isabel feels cheated, because Bernarda spends a lot of time in Manuela's presence and Bernarda's bevahiour is very decent and kind towards Manuela. Bernarda tries to explain, that's part of the sinister plan, but Isabel loses patience. Elisa is in the middle of photo shoot session. The doorbell rings and Mariana asks, if she can live with Elisa in her flat. Art and Mercedes talk about being parents. Mercedes explains, that Rudy and Mariana are as her own children. They start to kiss, and don't notice Rudy coming, who sees them kissing and seems to be very angry. Isabel wants Jacinta to come. Bernarda explains, that's not possible, but Isabel shows her new maculae, which could cause a big trouble during the surgery of face reconstruction. Mercedes tries to save the embarrasing moment by introducing Rudy and Art each other. Rudy has no sympathies for Art and he is angry about Mercedes' inappropriate behaviour. Manuela looks Isabel's portrait. Her opinion about her has changed dramatically. Manuela now wants to be as noble and respected lady Salinas' as Isabel were, when she was alive. Manuela asks Bernarda for help in transofrming in true lady Salinas'. Bernarda's first lesson is, that if Leopoldo is playing such sad melody on piano, it probably means, that he has done, what was Manuela asking for. He bought back the statuette.
