Suddenly, the phone rings and inspector Luna is informed, that Anais commited suicide. Doctor Leonardo visits Bernarda as well. But doctor Leonardo doesn't help Bernarda through her grief, he tries to confront her with the reality, that Isabel is dead. Bernarda doesn't want to listen to him and she is angry at him. Antonio came to Caňada Seca and wants to talk with father José in the church. Father José wants to protect Mariana, while Antonio wants to find her and inform her about what happened. Doctor Cruz meets with Antonio in the tavern in Caňada Seca. He wants to talk with him about Amanda, but Antonio has no interest to talk with him about Amanda. Chela and Felisa read newspaper article about tragedy in Salinas' residence, when Isabel tried to kill Fernando. Doctor Cruz tells Antonio, that Amanda bought the Salinas' residence. Antonio starts to laugh and now it is obvious, that doctor Cruz is in love with Amanda. He shows gun on his belt to Antonio, and because of that, Antonio calms down. Antonio drives his car through Caňada Seca and he makes short stop for having cigar and think where to search for Mariana. Adelaida brought maté to Rafael and they talk a little bit. They are interrupted by Antonio, who searches for Mariana. She will probably be at Verezza's ranch.
