When Manuela realizes, she has no support at Salinas' residence, she decides to leave. Anais/Isabel secretly watches Manuela's departure and feels joy and satisfaction. Anais decides to tell Isabel, what happened. In front of the house, where Isabel hides, Anais is stopped by Norma, nurse from the clinic. Norma knows, who Anais is, so she is surprised, when she spots ring of Isabel on hand of Anais. That makes Anais angry and with harsh words she leaves the scene. On the evening Norma tells doctor Santillian, what happened. Doctor Santillian decides to call at Emilio's flat to clarify the situation. He speaks with Bernarda, who denies any ring lost by Anais at the clinic. Aunt Gabriela asks the details of Manuela's departure. Teresa doesn't know the details and they have no importance for her. Teresa is convinced, that Manuela cheated Fernando with Rudy and Rudy is father of the baby as well. Before leaving, Gabriela reminds one of her tarrots session, when she foretold Fernando to have two children. Fernando's sterility serves as topic at Dorothy's flat, when Dorothy talks to Art. Art defends Fernando, while Dorothy defends Manuela and points out, that Fernando never told Manuela about his sterility. The same topic, from different viewpoint, is discussed at kitchen in Salinas' residence by Lorenzo and Luisa. Luisa is worried about Manuela, while Lorenzo blames Manuela for what happened. That makes Luisa angry and doesn't want to talk or interact with Lorenzo. Manuela returned to Caňada Seca, Manuela returned home. She is welcomed by Mercedes and Rudy. Manuela slowly reveals the recent issues. Manuela is pregnant, Fernando doesn't believe, that he is the father. Fernando, confirmed by multiple examinations, is declared as sterile. This issue was already known when Isabel was alive. Fernando thinks, that the father of the baby is Rudy. Teresa comes in library and talk to Fernando. Fernando confesses, that he slapped Manuela in the face. Fernando doesn't know, what to do, he now feels anger and hate towards Manuela. Teresa tries to explain, that everybody could make mistakes, but Fernando doesn't accept that argument. Suprisingly, Felisa and Celeste talk about Manuela's pregnancy as well. Celeste sympathizes with Manuela, while Felisa explains, that cheating is more common at high class society, than among working class. At Salinas' offices, Antonio warns Marcia, that Fernando probably won't come and will stay home. Suddenly, doors open and Fernando wants Antonio and Marcia come to his office. He gives orders to Marcia and when Antonio tries to talk to Fernando about what happened with Manuela, it makes Fernando angrier and he doesn't want to talk about it. Anais has phone call, received by Cella. When Anais is away, Cella asks Gabriela about what to do with the caller. SUddenly, Anais appears and receives the call. It is Jacinta, who wants the ransom money. Anais/Isabel promises to deliver it in her hut very soon. When the call is over, Anais leaves to her bedroom. Manuela is alone with her mother in bedroom. Manuela tells Mercedes, that only solution is, that Manuela confesses, that the baby is Rudy's. Mercedes wants to know, who is the father of the baby. That makes Manuela cry. She can't believe, that her own mother doesn't trust her. When Mercedes sees reaction of Manuela, she now has no doubts about Manuela's words. Rudy talks with father José about what happened. Father José tries to find the truth, but Rudy is convinced, that Fernando is bad person and he doesn't want to know anything else. Emilio traces Anais/Isabel down. But Anais is smarter than Emilio and she stpos Emilio. Emilio pretends, he protects her, but Anais doesn't support any type of this behaviour, from no one. Mercedes talks with father José about Manuela's pregnancy. Mercedes trusts Manuela, but father José reminds Mercedes, that Manuela can't lie in such important issue. Emilio tells Bernarda, what happened, when he traced down Anais/Isabel. Emilio doesn't know, why Isabel headed there and Bernarda doesn't know that as well. Emilio feels, that Isabel's behaviour changed dramatically. It doesn't mean Bernarda to lower her support to Isabel. Graciela Villa secretly calls in Salinas' residence. The call is answered by Cella. Before lady Villa tells, what she wants to speak with, Ignacio, doctor Villa, enters the room and ends the call prematurely. Cella doesn't know, what to do. Anais, who comes by, advices Cella to keep the mouth shut, when the call ended prematurely. Ignacio argues with Graciela. She wants to help Manuela and tell the truth, but it would mean long sentence for Ignacio and Fernando would never forgive him, that he made that setup on him. In the hideout, Anais tells Isabel about Jacinta's demands. AFter a short while, Isabel gives Anais clear order "Kill her!"
