Fork Creek Mill – Last Pecan Crotch Log on a Timberking 1400
The pecan crotch log from the tree 44” wide at the crotch and 22” at the base was milled using a Timberking 1400 band saw mill with a Cooks Saw Super Sharp Duratooth blade 1 1/4" by 7/8" with 8 degree pitch and a Kubota 5660SUHD tractor.
Band saws are inherently dangerous and can be dangerous if not operated properly. YOU, the operator, are responsible for the safe operation of the band saw. Do not remove, defeat, deface, or render inoperable any of the safety devices or warnings on the band saw. All guidelines for proper setup and use provided by the saw blade manufacturer and band saw manufacturer should be followed.
