Jointer Bed Extension
Installation of longer jointer beds on the Robland X-31 using 3/4" thick 6061 aluminum flat bar twelve inches wide. A goove was cut on the bottom of the infeed and outlet extensions so the plate would hook on the fence bars. Set screws were installed in the grooves so that the extension beds could be leveled to the machine. The material was obtained from Xometry.com. All safety precautions and PPE should be utilized as suggested by the tool maker.
