Mazda Bongo / Friendee / Ford Freda: Leisure Battery Tray Install.

The previous owner had a leisure battery fitted in the rear of my Bongo and was only ever linked to the rear cigarette lighter socket, this, obviously would do very little to charge a battery. When I removed the rear conversion and set the Bongo back to all seats there was no room for said battery.

Now however, I've finally decided to do something with it and today's video is me installing a new Leisure Battery Tray under the Bonnet.

I purchased this via eBay for about £50 including delivery from BAES, I think New Dawn Conversions do them too about the same price. I went for a new one because the few used original ones on ebay were going for even more money. I mean, it's a bit of metal for holding a battery!

Apologies now for the background noise as the neighbour decided to cut his grass half way through! Hopefully I'll get round to fitting the split charge relay in the near future too.
