Just Plodding - November 2022 - One night in Boroughbridge Car Park

November 2022 our trip to Ireland (to include a few days with my parents) was an exercise in seeking out more overnight stops but with a focus on being near or even in a town as often as possible.

This was in fact a stop off on the way to the ferry, we live in Bedfordshire and were going via the Cairnryan Ferry the next morning. Thats over 350 miles or 6.5 hours and we had the dogs so it's just too long a journey. Therefore by leaving after work and heading to Boroughbridge, it split the journey very nicely and makes the trip a lot less stressful.

We arrived here in the dark and because we were literally only using it as a stop over didn't have time to explore the town, but it's on my list to do so in the future.
