Just Plodding - Fridge Winter Vent Covers.

A short video of me fitting the new winter vent covers for the fridge. Whatever motorhome or caravan you have the process will be similar. This is a Dometic Fridge on a Bailey Alliance SE motorhome using LS100/LS200 covers.
I've seen these for sale at between £40 to £50 but I picked these up at my local dealer and only paid £28 which shows you onlines not always better!

The reason for fitting these is simply to make the gas fridge more efficient at temperatures less than 8 to 10 celcius. Yes many say they never fit them and that's fine, but they are likely burning a hell of a lot more gas than they need to, the trick however is to ensure you remove them if the ambient temperature is above the 8-10 celcius mark or heat wont escape.

As I say in the video, they are fragile when fitting so be gentle and patient.
