Just Plodding - October 2021 in Norn Iron Pt1 (and Donegal)

Part one of our October 2021 trip which is our 6th outing since buying the motorhome in June 2021!
As we had some time off together and we'd not visited my parents in Ireland for near on 2 years due to the pandemic we thought we'd do a week(ish) exploring Norn Iron (Northern Ireland) including a couple of nights in Donegal (in the Republic for those not in the know).

This video is the Donegal portion, we did in fact have a quick night in Scotland before catching the early morning ferry but I didn't bother videoing that as it was all simply, well, dark!

After 2 nights with my parents in Donegal we had a night at Narin beach on the west of Donegal, after exploring the beach at Bunbeg and seeing the shipwreck that is Bad Eddie https://emmafcownie.medium.com/the-happy-shipwreck-b%C3%A1d-eddie-ireland-42cf8b912d6e and then we went on to have another night at Shrove by the lighthouse. There were major aurora alerts for that night too but they never came to pass, plus there was just so much cloud that night anyway.

Having bought the Motorhome in June and pledging ourselves to one trip a month for 12 months, this is our 6th trip out since then. So far we've done
June: Scotland and the Outer Hebrides
July: Broomfield Farm Caravan and Motorhome Club site
August: Southwold & Cromer Wild Camping one weekend, then a second trip near the end of the month to Southport & the Peak District.
September: Hemsby for 2 nights for some beach.
October is this one :-)
