According to a scientific paper by James Stephens, which appeared in the Journal of American Physical Therapy Association, it's not only possible to lenghten the hamstrings without stretching, but with the same (or even better) progress as with stretching. This is a video series by Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner Alfons Grabher to show the movements used in that study, as well as other „Awareness through movement“ classes to find length in the hamstrings without stretching.
The Feldenkrais Method offers a unique opportunity to explore the difference of performing and sensing, of becoming more mature in movement patterns, in how to stay out of pain and to be better at everything you choose.
