I love going to craft markets and farmers markets: they are such a great way to explore and discover creativity, innovation, beauty, and the human heart within our communities! In this video I show you some wonderful talent we have here in Vancouver :)

but along with that:
Do you ever consider shopping locally when making consumer choices?
When you go to the grocery store or to the mall, do you know where your purchases are coming from and what kind of social and economical impact they have?

I have recently been thinking about this a lot more and this makes it even more meaningful for me in getting to know my local artists and vendors and supporting their craft and their passion. Also, the handmade items I purchased today are all women owned businesses, which I love to support!
