[Mindset Monday] Be The Person You Want To Be Around (Healthy Mindset Habits)

How would you like it if YOU were your friend/team member/spouse? Would you feel happy with anticipation or a feeling of exhaustion? 🧐

My mom ingrained in me since I was a little girl that I should aspire to be someone people like to be around. I can’t say I’ve been successful all the time, but I CAN say that it’s always in the back of my mind when I am dealing with challenging situations or when I asses my contribution or involvement in any relationship, be it personal or professional. When we leave the table do I leave an affirming, encouraging spirit in the other person or have I made them feel frustrated and annoyed? To do this well is to be able to marry a genuinely caring heart with an objective point of view...which is not always easy to do and requires constant self-awareness 😉

This time of self-isolation is the perfect opportunity to do some self-reflection on your relationships with others and see if this is an area you need growth in. If you need someone to talk to or feel stuck in your mind I’m here to lend an ear and a shoulder 🥰
