3 Slash Licks From 1992

Here's the next episode of Three-For-All with 3 Slash Licks From 1992. I featured Guns N' Roses in a Chordplay episode last year and since that time I've had numerous requests to feature some of Slash's energetic licks and I've finally gotten around to it - so here we go!

This lesson features a handful of licks from a live performance in Tokyo, Japan when Guns N' Roses was on the Use Your Illusion tour, and catches Slash at his fiery best, whipping out a lot of great blues-rock ideas with plenty of aggression, emotive feel, and energy.

If you're a fan of G-N-R or Slash himself, you'll find plenty to get excited and inspired hiding in this lesson, as we're tackling some signature string bending and double-stop ideas from Slash's fingers, not to mention some finger-twisting "speed licks" centering around minor pentatonic and Blues scales, a tasty melodic arpeggio idea, and much more!
