Chordplay - I Want My MTV Chords

Hey everyone! Here's the next episode of Chordplay with I Want My MTV Chords. This episode revolves around a random assortment of classic songs from the MTV era during the 1980s & 1990s. This was a fun episode to put together, as this assorted format allows me to select songs from bands/artists that I may not feature in an entire episode, and gives us a chance to "float around" (musically speaking) - so let's dive in!

The chord-based and rhythm guitar examples in this episode include a number of songs that were commonly featured on MTV back in the day, and include classics such as the Dire Straits MTV anthem 'Money For Nothing,' Pat Benatar's 'You Better Run' (the 2nd music video shown on MTV), INXS with 'I Need You Tonight,' the eternal classic 'Your Love' from The Outfield, Lenny Kravitz's slow funk from 'It Ain't Over Til It's Over,' and Robert Plant's dreamy 'Ship Of Fools,' to name a few.
