I thought for a while about whether I should post this or not, but decided I should for the sake of being honest and showing you the reality of long term solo travel.

The truth about the dangers and loneliness of solo travel is hard to bear sometimes. Usually, solo traveling is amazing. The solitude, the peace, and the freedom are worth every bad moment.

Traveling solo is dangerous though. It's harder to get out of a tricky situation. It's more difficult when you're in a bad mood. The loneliness of solo travel should not be underrated. It's not about sleeping alone or having no one to chat with. It's about not having another mind to help you solve a problem. It's about not having someone to say "hey, it's okay," when you're upset. It's about having to bear the constant weight of making all of the choices, setting up all of your hostel beds and flights, and never having a break of keeping on top of it. It's exhausting sometimes. And sometimes you just need to let it out.

If you're considering solo travel, and you're worried about the dangers of solo travel, or the loneliness of solo travel, be aware that they are real threats. However, as exhibited on nearly every other video on this channel, the benefits totally overrule the negatives.
