Why TRAVELING SLOW IS BETTER & Navigating SOFIA'S METRO SYSTEM -- Long Term Travel // 085

I pretty much got myself from one side of Sofia, Bulgaria to the other via Metro, just to buy a bus ticket which I couldn't even buy. The good things: I found out where the bus station was, I learned how to navigate Sofia's metro system, and I took a long thoughtful walk through one of Sofia's biggest parks.

While on this walk I realized that I had the freedom to spend all day figuring out Sofia's metro system and walking through the parks in Sofia because I'm traveling slowly. Traveling slow is better than traveling fast because you can truly take your time to get lost in a city. It's cheaper, it's more relaxed, and it helps you learn the way of the locals. I highly recommend traveling slow if you're traveling long term.
