COCKTAILS MADE HEALTHIER!

Welcome to the first episode of THE MODERN UNICORN! I am featuring COCKTAILS MADE HEALTHIER! Keto-friendly, low carb & sugar-free!

RECIPES FROM THIS EPISODE:

Sugar-Free Simple Syrup:
- 1 C Lakanto Powdered Sugar
- 1 C Water
Combine in small pot over medium heat until dissolved, transfer to mason jar or other glass container

Old Fashioned:
- 4 oz Bourbon
- 1 oz Sugar Free simple syrup
- 2 dashes of Bitters (I used Black Walnut bitters)
- 4 drops of DoTerra Wild Orange Essential Oil
- dehydrated or slice of orange for garnish
- Large ice cube or ice cubes of your choice
In a cocktail mixing glass, combine all ingredients except ice cube & garnish. Place Ice in glass & pour cocktail over ice cube & garnish

Lemon Drop Martini:
- 4 oz Vodka
- 1 oz Sugar Free simple syrup
- juice of 1/2 lemon
- ice cubes
-small plate of Lakanto granulated sugar substitute
- lemon garnish of your choice
Add contents minus garnish (& plate of sugar, of course) to Cocktail Shaker. Swipe juiced lemon around rim of glass & swirl rim in plate of sugar substitute. Shake vigorously & pour over ice in sugar-free, sugar-rimmed glass. Garnish with lemon twist or slice.

Margarita:
- 4 oz Tequila
- juice from 2 limes
- 4 drops Wild Orange essential oils
- small plate of sea salt
- lime for garnish
Add contents minus garnish (& plate of sea salt, of course) to Cocktail Shaker. Swipe juiced lime around rim of glass & swirl rim in plate of sea salt. Shake vigorously & pour over ice in salt-rimmed glass. Garnish with lime.
