MPIC Tissue Microarrays (TMA)

MPIC uses the TMA Master II by 3D Histech to create Tissue Microarrays (TMAs). A TMA is a paraffin wax block that possesses small tissue cores punched from other paraffin blocks containing human tissue biopsies or animal tissue sections from specific areas of interest (such as a tumor) arranged into an organized array for easy assessment later on. This video demonstrates how the TMA-creation process is accomplished.
