Soviet pop: Lyudmilla Gurchenko - I'm waiting for you

We delayed to make this video, because we lost our HD with this project done, so I tried to build a video like the other one with subtititles in english.

While the other channels talk about conflicts, here we show love, love in Soviet times (not that the conflict isn't important).

The scenes in the clip are from the films "The Beloved Woman of
the Mechanic Gavrilov", in which the main character is played by Lyudimila Gurchenko (she was an actress too), ""The Traffic Police Inspector" and "Moscow does not believe in tears". Music was present in the first two films. The only scene from the movie "The Traffic Inspector" is present in the clip runs from 2:02 to 2:27, and is the exact scene where this song appears in the movie. I didn't put more scenes from the same movie, because it's not exactly "romantic" like the other two.

Soon (but not so soon) we will translate the song from the movie "Moscow does not believe in tears", "Aleksandra". It's a song that I had the lyrics partially translated few years ago, but I wasn't very satisfied with the whole work.

Letter:

I’m waiting for you*,
Come faster,
Come, come, come!
Why are you being late?
Call me faster
You, call me,
For our love!

I’m waiting, waiting, waiting,
At noon I’m waiting!
I’m waiting, I’m waiting, I’m waiting,
At midnight I’m waiting!
I’m waiting, waiting, waiting,
I’m waiting just for you!
How long will I have to wait, I don't know,
But you I recognize
I recognize you, among all, among all, easily.
Why are you being late?
Call me faster
You, call me,

I won't tell anyone about you,
Anyone, anyone, anyone!
Only I will lean on your chest,
And at a glance I'll understand,
With half a word I will understand.
I won't tell anyone about you,
For anyone, for anyone, for anyone!
Only I will lean on your chest,
And at a glance I will understand**,
With half a word I will understand.

*"I waitfor you" is also a possible translation for "Ia zhdu", as the verb is imperfect and also suggests the present tense.

**"With half a look I will understand" is also a possible translation for the verse.
