Bluetti EB150 Portable Power Station Review
This review is something a little different from us and yes it is our first sponsored review that we have shared on our channel, we wanted to keep this review transparent and honest with our followers and to gauge your thoughts on this product.
We were approached by BLUETTI to do a review on the EB150 portable power station to try it out and share our thoughts with our followers.
Firstly we had never heard of the company and after some research we found that they have been around for some time however just haven't made much of a splash into the Australian Market (to our knowledge anyway!). We were rather surprised with how quickly the unit was delivered (especially over the Christmas period) and impressed with how well it was packaged to avoid damage during transit.
The unit has a battery capacity of 1500Wh/117Ah weighing in at approx 17kgs. It is designed as a portable power supply for at home or off-grid, allowing you the ability to charge various electronic devices (such as your smartphone, tablet, laptop, camera, etc.) or to power various electric appliances rated under 1000W.
As you will see in our video we actually come unstuck here a little as we don't usually camp with smaller appliances, our Dmax is set up with a 2000W inverter therefore personally we would have found the Bluetti EB AC200P a similar portable unit (however slightly larger in size and capacity), a more suitable unit for our camping needs.
If your a camper, traveller or even a tradie in need of a smaller portable power supply to run all the smaller appliances and camera gear, we found this would be a great option especially when comparing the cost to fit out a 4x4 with the additional batteries, inverters etc.
We'd love to know your thoughts, do you travel with one of these types of units? Would this size of unit be suitable for you or would you prefer something larger/ smaller?
How can you further support us? If you decide that this is the type of unit you would like to buy by clicking the below link we will receive a small commission. See the below link for more information on this product and other similar products by Bluetti:
