CAPE YORK - AUSTRALIA'S ULTIMATE 4x4 & CAMPING ADVENTURE!

Cape York is the ultimate Aussie 4x4 and camping experience, no video or photo will ever do this adventure of a lifetime justice! Its one to experience for yourself! Many of our best memories weren't caught on camera for us to share and that's the best part of this trip, be present enjoy the breathtaking views, the dirt and the bumps and enjoy it to the fullest!

Our trip took us from Mt Carbine to the most Northern Point of Australia and back in two weeks. We didn't do much planning at all for this trip, in fact it was over a bottle of wine two nights before hand, so we opted for the PDR Road over the Telegraph track. We made it back with the Dmax almost unscathed losing only a headlight protector and our NUMBER PLATE! Which funnily enough we got back, with a big thank-you to a Weipa local who found it on the side of the road at the Tip!

We were lucky this trip, there weren't many on the roads, we were able to enjoy the falls and the Tip all by ourselves for hours before we had to share these spots. We met so many great people on the road, both travellers and locals!

We couldn't recommend this experience enough to anyone who is considering going, it is not as remote as we expected and you will still have access to fuel, food, toilets & showers the majority of the time.

Remember to clean up after yourself everywhere you go, take your rubbish with you and leave the site as you found it or better!
