SOUTH AUSTRALIA ROADTRIP Pt2 + HELLO VICTORIA!

In this episode we hit South Australia! We definitely enjoyed our fair share of wineries this trip, a lot we didn’t cover in our video but our recommendation is to be prepared for your own van-cellar when visiting SA.

We fell in love with the coastline of the Fleurieu Peninsula, a drive along route 31 is a must. Make sure you add a visit to Rapid Bay and Cape Jervis we will definitely be visiting these areas again. We also spotted a wild seal off the coast of Cape Jervis, Chan’s day made!

Next stop is Mount Gambier boy do we explore some caves and sinkholes, we found this fascinating there’s sooooo many in this region.

A last minute decision leads us to making our way back to Queensland via the Great Ocean Road, we swing by a few coastal towns on our way including Robe and Beachport both have stunning cliffs and we’re told great fishing (the weather wasn’t on our side to try our luck).

Victoria turned on that rainy cold weather for us, we absolutely froze and spent a lot of our time dodging the rain.

But we crammed in as much site seeing as we could along the great ocean road and we covered the 12 apostles food artesian trail which is a great day trip for the foodies out there!

We cut the trip along the Great Ocean road short after we enjoyed (insert sarcasm) a 2am wake up to 90km winds and almost loosing our awning …eep!

On our trip home we of course stopped in at another winery, Brown Brothers with a free camp across the road you can’t go wrong with this one.

We end this trip where it all started back at the free camp Rainbow Reserve just outside of Goondiwindi.
