Water vole displacement - strimmers and brush cutters in action - phase 1 of displacement

Due to lack of machinery access, vegetation clearance was undertaken with a combination of strimmers (for grass) and brush cutters (bramble and woody material) to cut all the vegetation to ground level. All before the rakes come out to clear it all away! Certainly a more labour intensive approach but one which is suitable for poor access or really soft ground.
