Water vole displacement - bramble clearance with brush cutter - stage 1 of displacement
Brush cutter and operator hard at work clearing the bramble from the bank side of the watercourse. Once this is cut the rakes come out to clear all the loose vegetation (arisings) from the bank side. This is then piled up or windrowed about 5 metres from the top bank of the watercourse.
