How to make Flourless Browies | Stacey Dee's Kitchen

Hey there,
I adore brownies and love making all variations! These brownies are flourless and have been made using ground almonds instead of normal flour. This recipe is great as its gluten-free and also a perfect bake for Pesach (which is coming soon!) My flourless brownies make yummy treats for the kids, are a fabulous dessert with ice cream on the side and are ideal as a gift.

INGREDIENTS & METHOD
Oven on to 180 or 160 fan
Line an 8 inch square tin
Ingredients
75g unsalted butter
250g caster sugar
3 Large Eggs
75g Cocoa Powder
150g Ground Almonds (processed to make finer)
¼ tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
Optional Chocolate chips
Method
Melt the butter in a bowl in the microwave and the sugar and whisk to combine
Spoon into a stand mixer with a paddle attachment
Add the eggs one at a time while mixing slowly
Add the almonds, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt at the same time and mix until smooth
Pour into the lined cake tin. Top with chocolate chips if you fancy
Bake for around 25-30 mins
Cool in the tin for 20 mins and then remove and leave to cook on a wire rack
This brownie cake can be frozen or kept in an airtight container for 4 days
