Exploring Lake Mead for the BEST Fishing & Camping Spots

This week we do some recon!
We hit the backroads of Lake Mead National Recreation Area in Nevada to find the BEST camping AND fishing spots available on North Shore Road within the Lake Mead area. Lake mead is only 15 minutes away from Henderson NV and you have to pay to enter the park - $20 for a day pass or get in for FREE using the America the Beautiful pass - this has already paid for itself with the amount of times we visit the park :)

I go over the pros and cons of each area we find -
Government Wash Rd (Good to camp AND fish, lots of open area and options to camp and fish from shore)
- Crawdad Cove (Good to camp and do a bit of fishing but its muddy)
- Callville Bay (Bust - most things were closed, no good access to the water but there was a campground available for $20 a night)
- Red Stone (not a camping or fishing spot but an awesome area for a day picnic - looks like your on Mars!)
- Echo Bay (Awesome spot, will definitely be camping and fishing here in the future) 36.308843, -114.404776
- Stewarts Point (Good spot, lots of space to camp, easy access to the water, I'll be camping and fishing this area in the future!) 36.366564, -114.394942
- St Thomas Ghost Town (not a camping or fishing spot, just a hike to see the Ghost Town)
