Rogers Warm Spring & Stewart's Point Campground Lake Mead NV

This week we visited Rogers Warm Spring and Stewart's Point Campground in the Lake Mead National Recreation Area. From our BLM camping area north of Las Vegas, the direct route to Lake Mead was through Valley of Fire State Park.

Rogers Spring is about 80 degrees warm (water temperature) year round, and was once used as a tropical fish hatchery. Today there are still tropical fish in the spring. It was a fun tropical oasis in the middle of the desert!

We stopped by Stewart's Point Campground as well to see about access and the camping areas for future trips to the area. We think the views are fabulous! And a rig of any size should be able to make it.
