Voila ce qu'il vous faut!--Dans les rôles d'amoureux langoureux (Relyea, Brower)

I love posting videos of my mezzo bois because I love watching and hearing their big numbers. But another thing that's really important to me is the acting. And occasionally, there'll be a scene in an opera where the trouser role says nothing at all, and yet somehow steals the stage.
Here we have Angela Brower's weirdly cute and strangely hilarious Nicklausse interacting animatedly with Lindorf (John Relyea) during the bass's big number. Granted, Relyea nails it and his is one of my favorite Lindorfs out of the 15+ I've seen. But my favorite part of this scene is watching Nicklausse running around the stage as Lindorf sings. I love the staging in this production so much.
