Faites-lui mes aveux (Marta Fontanals-Simmons)

Fontanals-Simmons isn't super well known, but has made a mark in certain places. She's my second-favorite Cherubino (and I'm a bit surprised I haven't posted her here yet). Here she is as the precious Siébel. Her smile melts my heart. This is a revival of the famed McVicar production at the Royal Opera House (everyone's favorite--I have beef with McVicar, but I gotta hand it to him when it comes to Siébel).
Enjoy this classic production from 2019. And enjoy Fontanals-Simmons shining as she sings one of the best trouser role arias ever.
