US Army Chinook CH-47F Ostend (OST/EBOS) 02 & 11 june2023

This video compilation was shot on two different days in July.
On the 2nd of July a 5 ship formation of US Army CH-47s (Chinooks) made a quick stop at our airport before crossing the English Channel to RAF Northolt, UK. The same formation returned via Ostend Airport on the 11th to take on some fuel again.
The unit, is the 3rd Aviation Regiment, 2nd Battalion "Knighthawks", here company B "Hercules", and is a General Support Aviation Battalion. Homebase is Hunter AAF, GA, USA.
They attracted quite some attention from the local public when the heavy helicopters temporarily "invaded" :-) the General Aviation Apron.
