USAF B52H Bomber Task Force, RAF Fairford UK, september 2022

At the end of the summer of 2022, again a Bomber Task Force was temporarily stationed at RAF Fairford in the UK. Four B52s were present and performed different missions. Herewith some departures and an arrival as well, filmed on the 13th of September.
In the taxi sequences you can see as well the unique feature of the pivoting gear they test. This feature of the B52 is used, to "crab" the plane on take-off or landing in crosswind conditions.

The B52s are from 23rd squadron of the 5th Bomb Wing, based in the US at Minot AFB, North Dakota.
