Rodgers Artist 599 Hybrid (Franck)

This is a recording of the PRELUDE from Cesar Franck’s well-loved Prelude, Fugue, and Variation (Opus 18). It is performed on the Rodgers 599 Hybrid Organ at St. Peter Catholic Church in Kenosha, WI.
Should you take the time to seek out some other settings of this piece on YouTube for comparison, I believe that you will find that the sound of this instrument is as good (or possibly superior) to the all-pipe organs that you will hear on YouTube.
 The church’s upgrade to an Artist console allows the digital stops to tune automatically to the pipes. It also offers a built-in sequencer, MIDI, additional (French, English, and German) Organ samples plus a large compliment of Orchestral Voices.
