Rodgers Artist 599 Hybrid (Handel)

This is a recording of the Rodgers 599 Hybrid Organ at St. Peter Catholic Church in Kenosha, WI. This concerto is often referred to as “the Cuckoo and the Nightingale.”
While the console is interfaced to 11 ranks of Stinkens pipes, less than half of them are used in this recording. You should note that registrations change frequently from pipe stops to digital stops – yet it is virtually impossible to tell the difference (even in person).
The beautiful mahogany chests were built by Rodgers Instruments over 20 years ago. The quality of both the pipework and the chests is world-class. There has NEVER been a pipe valve issue or a cipher to date.
The church’s upgrade to a new Artist console allows the digital stops to tune automatically to the pipes. It also offers a built-in sequencer, MIDI, additional (French, English, and German) Organ samples plus a large compliment of Orchestral Voices.
