Triune Music's President performs a "Meditation on the Cross," recorded Good Friday, 2013

Robert Hebble's lush setting of "Beneath the Cross of Jesus" benefits greatly from the resources of the Rodgers all-digital 3-manual organ installed at Christ Lutheran Church in Clarendon Hills, Illinois. Though the organ was installed in 2003, it has a better-sounding French Horn and twice the MIDI of any competitive organ today.

The Organ Committee of Christ Lutheran Church auditioned more than twenty different organs before unanimously deciding on the Rodgers 957. Their Organist played the same ten organ selections on all 20+ organs, in the same order, so they could make an informed decision. This meditative selection features more of the quiet sounds on this organ, along with MIDI strings, choir, cello, & flute.

The Chairperson of this Organ Committee is a Nurse. Still she was able to measure the length of various samples (like the Rodgers Chimes) using her skills for taking pulses. She noted that the Rodgers Chime sample has more than twice the wave-length memory than the other organs auditioned.
