Simple 5 Ingredient Sesame Crisps Recipe (芝麻薄脆) with Papa Fung
Light, crispy and crunchy addictive sesame snacks. It is both sweet and savoury, with nuttiness from the sesame seeds. They’re really easy to make, you only need 5 ingredients.

SESAME CRISPS RECIPE [芝麻薄脆食譜]
This recipe makes 24 crisps [製成二十四塊薄脆]
INGREDIENTS [食材]
200g White Sesame [白芝麻]
200ml (7) Egg Whites [(约七隻蛋)蛋白]
100ml Peanut Oil [花生油]
80g Icing Sugar [糖粉]
70g Pastry Flour [低筋麵粉]
DIRECTIONS [製作]
1. Roast white sesame until fragrant, set aside [白鑊炒香芝麻備用。]
2. Whisk egg whites until combined, add in icing sugar and mix until melted. Add in peanut oil until combined, sift pastry flour into the mixture and mix. Add in white sesame and mix them together, set aside. [打散蛋白,加入糖粉搅至糖溶,逐少加油撹拌至混合篩入麵粉,撤底拌均匀再加入芝麻拌匀,放置一旁備用。]
3. Prepare a tray with baking sheet, place a scoop of mixture and make it as thin as possible with plenty of room between each crisp [焗盤舖上焗餅紙,用湯匙盛起粉漿倒在餅紙上,粉漿之間預留空間免黏。]
4. Bake at 300°F for 20 minutes until golden brown, cool and serve. [預熱焗爐300度焗二十分鐘至金黄色即可。]
