How do deal with random banding when printing
I've answered this question for a number of people, so I'll explain it and show it in a quick video. Sometimes banding occurs in a print, and you can't see the banding on screen. Print heads are all clean, and there's no apparent reason for it. It happens most often on thicker papers and rag papers.
There are two things that can be done. First is using feed adjustment, and the second is to add a layer that is 50% grey, run the noise filter on that layer, and then set the opacity very low, like 3-5%. This introduces color into the monochromatic image without showing, and can resolve the banding.
