cicada fairy sculpture 360 degree view

This is a 360 degree movie of a sculpture by Jayne Dinsmore, titled “Cicada Fairy”. This method of photographing sculpture allows the viewer to see the sculpture from any angle and appreciate the complexity and detail from any view. After all, a sculpture can be viewed from any angle. Using this method the viewer can appreciate the piece without the need for any special 3D hardware. It’s not true 3D, but it does allow various viewing angles, and the viewer can shuttle through the video and stop at any point to view it from a particular angle. The full resolution version can especially be appreciated on desktop computers, tablets, and high resolution smart phones.
