A lot of reenactors can get very defensive whenever they are faced with suggestions about ways that they can improve the look of their impressions - and it's not hard to understand why. After all, building an impression takes a lot of time and money, so once a kit is "complete," most people balk at the idea of having to spend even more money. So, I asked around for some suggestions of SMALL, inexpensive changes that people can make to their impressions that can improve them in a big way. These are some of the responses that I got.
