Twelfth Night Celebration - Lafayette-Durfee House
I shudder to think of what YouTube's compression is going to do to this video. Pray for me.
Last weekend, I found myself back at the Lafayette-Durfee House in Fall River, MA, where Jen - a long-time friend of the 54th - was preparing a feast in celebration of Twelfth Night, with help from some other reenactors. Members of the 54th came down to support the event, along with a few members from the 10th Regiment of Foot, and a few colonial units such as the 13th Continentals, and Tew's Company Second Rhode Island. A good time was had by all. What follows is a short sample of some of the festivities that were had. Enjoy!
