Egyptian Type 2 AKM Bayonet in black. Militaria.

This is an Egyptian AKM (more modern version of what people think of as the original AK47) bayonet. It's a Type 2 version which has an upgraded butt for use as a hammer.

It has a cutting edge, a sharp point, a saw, can cut through barbed wire (including electric fence wire) and of course would be useful for what bayonets are useful for, running enemies through.

Mine came pretty blunt and the tip was rounded off a bit which annoyed the hell out of me. So I spent some time grinding a new edge on it and a better point. It's now at a point where it could usefully open packages, if it were what I had to hand.

It's a nice bayonet with the nice aspect of being able for soldiers to cut through electrified fences.
