"DurapatchUV is a reinforced self-adhesive repair patch activated by UV light.

This extraordinary FDA approved material can be applied to almost any surface and quickly cures hard as a rock. It's available in four convenient sizes (though you can easily cut any size of patch you need from a larger one), it can be drilled, tapped, sanded, or painted less than an hour after it's applied, and it is flexible, rot-proof, waterproof, and resistant to impacts, chemicals, solvents, and oils.

In the past, catastrophic damage like this couldn't be repaired- your only option would've been to throw your item away and purchase a new one. But with DurapatchUV, all you have to do to repair it is clean the damaged area with basic glass cleaner, select or cut out a patch large enough to cover the damage, then firmly apply the patch over the damaged area and press out all air bubbles. The patches cure in just five minutes of direct sunlight or 50 minutes in cloudy weather, or you can shine a UV flashlight on the patches for five minutes to cure them indoors.
