5.56 theoretical APDS
If someone wants to know what the projectile shape is all about, this simulation is a request to test the idea of a projectile that will do damage but won't go right through the target.
I chose tungsten alloy because tungsten carbide is too brittle for this kind of design.
Projectile velocity - 950m/s
Armor: 2mm HHS, 1mm rubber, 2x 1mm low carbon.
I think it's bad idea when it comes to stopping a projectile. I chose the best possible material, but at high speeds, this solution does not make sense.
