Every time a cage is changed, like a new set-up or new items in the cage, it's important to watch your hamster use them to see how safe they are. I had to add more bedding and adjust the height of the water bottle with this new set-up as well as change a few ceramic tubes to be safer (no gaps or dangerous angles). If I hadn't caught these things quickly they could have been bad for little Cleaver.
