Casting away the rotted seeds so they no longer disgust the senses. Young or older, Cleaver has always been picky about those seeds. Both of us decided we didn't want to be in a video this week, so here's Cleaver from back in April.

A note on feeding methods:
I use both the bowl and scatter feeding method. I also leave a millet spray plus several boredom breakers (with protein pellets and sunflower seeds in them) in the habitat. Cleaver is still fairly young and seems to enjoy both feeding methods so having lots to nibble on is working. But I weigh him regularly to be sure he's healthy and will adjust accordingly as we go.
