Transport Info:
Driving to the quaint mountain town of Jiufen (九份) in New Taipei (新北市) is pretty simple on a weekday if you go early in the morning, but at weekends it is a lot more troublesome.
Most people prefer to take the train to Ruifang (瑞芳) and then a short ride on one of the very frequent bus services.
