This video will explain how one assesses for lumbo-sacral plexopathy using nerve conduction and EMG tests and distinguish these from differentials such a Peroneal Nerve lesions / Sciatic nerve lesions and Lumbar Radiculopathy. In this case I describe some specifics regarding a complication of prolonged labor called post-partum plexopathy. This can be confused with issues relating to epidural pain relief and stirrup related compression neuropathy.
