Reverse Plank

REVERSE PLANK [Back Burner!]

This is one you have to try out at home! ⁣

The reverse plank is much more difficult than it looks! 💯 This exercise will target the entire posterior chain from the hamstrings, glutes, low back, to shoulder muscles.⁣
☝️Demonstrated here are a double and single leg variation - The single leg variation will further the challenge to the lower body. If this is too challenging for you, bend your knees and perform a #reversetabletop. This is another great version of opening up your chest with decreasing demand at your shoulders. 👌⁣

🔑 Keys for the Reverse Plank include:⁣
✔️Keep wrists under shoulders - Keep fingers towards the back wall⁣
✔️Squeeze shoulder blades together - Open Chest⁣
✔️Lift hips up towards the ceiling⁣
✔️Squeeze your Glute’s and Hamstrings⁣

Tag us if you try this out! Ideally you bring your hips up higher towards the ceiling than I do here! ⁣
