Scared baby seal relaxes during rescue

A nice feel good rescue. This one is a throwback to when Antoine was still around. We only realized after watching the clip for the first time a few days ago how totally calm this little guy was while we were working on him.
During a rescue, the seals, especially the pups are scared, and this results in aggressive behaviour, but this little guy was different.
You can see Naude's grip is really loose and he made no attempts to snap or bite. Usually it’s a much different story, but sometimes you find one that’s really happy to be helped😊
