Gongs and Chimes started broadcasting around the 1960s in the Cold War. After the Cold War Gongs and Chimes broadcasted for 3 more decades. Gongs and Chimes was last heard in 1990.
During the broadcast you can hear bells, gongs, chimes and then a female automated Stasi Sprach Machines voice was heard shouting out numbers in German. One transmission you can hear drunk men singing a nursery rhyme in German.
